What did you do to your Ranger today?

Do you do your own undercoating or does someone do that for you? I went to Brian Pellerin’s Rust Check when I lived back east. I’m not sure what you or others think of that product. I have no idea how effective it is but it did seep out of the panels a bit but there wasn’t any noticeable dripping afterwards.

I do both, get it sprayed and do it myself, just depends on my mood lol. My former side-hustle was portable undercoating, I'd do it in customers driveways. Rust Check is a good product, but others have come along that are better. I've used nothing but Fluid Film for 20+ years.

Had some warm weather roll in so i broke out the rattle can and did a little modification, 3 coats of color and 3 of clear, with plenty of dry time between each. Happy with it.

Put TVD vinyl tailgate decals on my 22 ranger today..they are the carbon colored ones...hopefully they stay on good.

Those do look good, the color is perfect for your Ranger.

Yes, a spray in bed liner is your only option. Those bed carpets were designed for car shows and display purposes only. You want nothing that hold debris or moisture at all. And I'll bet there's plenty of leaf dust under plastic bed rail caps and tailgate cap too. I'm removing all three and having them Line-X'd asap. My 4G box rotted away in those places, and I undercoated under them!

Um, hate to let you in on this ... but the BedRug is designed for the suave Ranger driver that has a damper installed.

You see ... that damper is a babe magnet and having a cushioned bed becomes a necessity. =D

It's not easy being this handsome and desirable, but it does come easy with the damper! =p

David like a lot of us have a spray on bed liner but also a bed mat to save our knees and keep things from sliding all over the place. It's nice as you can remove the bed matt and wash the bed out. Then put the mat back in.

The damper dosen't "make the man", but its length and the fact that it goes in and out and in and out, does help !!!
