I saw eibach finally came out with the pro truck resi for us. Im wondering how they compare to the pro truck sport ones. I found the pro truck sport rears to be a bit too stiff (pro truck coilovers are pretty balanced and feel good though). I found a video from eibach that stated they were linear valved as it responded better in the rear, but real world opinions are also good.

Anyone have them yet? (before i pull out the CC blindly)

Shock Surplus did a video on this a few weeks back, they seemed to really like the rear shocks with the resi's.

I saw that video- made my decision easy, was exactly what I was looking for.

Turns out- the coilovers are linear valved (why they seem to feel similar to stock but better support) the regular pro truck sport shocks (rear) are digressive. the PTR's are also linear.
So with my icon leafs, 2.0 coilovers up front and PTR's in the rear- i should have a very smooth ride by next week.

So I know the Eibachs have a million mile warranty, but I assume that is just for mfg defects. Normally I would replace shocks at around 100k. Do your Eibachs show any signs of normal wear that would give you reason to replace them? I've got about 25k on mine. Love them.

They look good and ride the same as the day one so I don't seen any reason to replace until they break...

Good to know. I can tell when my shocks or struts are starting to go with the bouncy backroads I take. They wear so slowly, when you change them, you notice a huge difference.

I have the rears on that set installed and it’s a night and day difference. Haven’t done the coilovers yet as I’m still on the fence whether to do them myself and put the money towards tires or pay a shop to do it and save me the time and skinned knuckles.
