Two weeks of ownership. Maybe this has been covered before but I cannot find a thread about this.
Everytime I go over a decent size bump in the road or lets say a pothole, I hear a beep coming from somewhere. I think it is beeping twice. I see no indication of anything happening on the dash so I am at a loss for what it is about. Anyone have any idea what it is? I have meant to call the dealer about it but I always forget to.
Thanks.

I don't have a Tremor but have been off road and over a lot of bumps with mine and the beeping doesn't sound normal. Is there anything aftermarket installed that could cause this?

Might be traction control activating for a slit second - does anyone know if our traction control warning has an audible tone?

Dave & Chris, you are intelligent men! Your comment made me realize that it just might be the Thinkware U1000 dash cam I had installed. I just researched the device and you are correct. The camera is intepreting the bump as an accident. Two beeps. Since it is on continuous recording I don't think it does anything different other then place the video in the "accident" folder for viewing later. For sure I will have to mute the sound when off roading. That could get annoying.
Thanks for the quick response. Saves me a trip or call to the dealer where I would look kind of stupid.

Whew...I was wondering why my Tremor doesn't beep! Thought I was missing something!
Seriously, I am glad you guys helped Lee find the source of the beeping! Sounds like an easy fix!

Glad you found it Lee. Funny because I have the exact same dash cam but I do have the sound muted as it drove me crazy while driving.

Now, if we can just get that fleet Ranger in Montreal back up and running.
