All glass houses should come with a Leelee Sobieski.People who live in glass houses should not have rocks in their yard.
Been looking at mud flaps and the bushwacker door sill protection too. Still doesn't keep the tires from picking up rocks, new tires will definitely be put on but I will probably do at least one of these options too.Mud flaps.
These tires are absolute garbage, I have never seen this before. My truck has 550 miles and I have already had to spend a evening repairing chips on the lower front doors because I can't drive over a single rock without these tires throwing them up.
My family and I are always up on mountains and I have to clean out my tires after every trip. Going up the trails today to go mountain bike riding but not before spending 45min cleaning out my tires!
I will be ordering new tires this week, most likely the Wildpeaks AT3s or the Ridge or Terra Grapplers. I have had all these tires and they haven't had this problem before.
Is this something that should be brought up to Ford? I know I'm not the only person who has had some damage done to their trucks because of these tires. I have never had a new vehicle before so I don't know if they even care about that sort of thing.![]()
This is my mornings pillage
Yeah, I really didn't want to do mud flaps for off-road reasons and I do not care for them anyways. I just wanted to get the rest of the truck dialed in till I do wheels and tires. We have been doing more towing than off-road lately too.The first thing I did was take the stock Hankooks off and replaced them with the Ridge Grapplers. I don't like mud flaps as they will usually get hung up or torn off while off road. My rockers look perfect after 16,000 miles but I do have the factory steps which I'm sure helps some. The rears though are not protected and they still look brand new.
