My '19 FX4 SCREW with LT tires has a recommended pressure of 38 psi. I run them at 35 psi for a better ride and rotate every 5000 mile with oil change. No wear issues I do bump the backs up to 38 for towing. 38 was too hard unloaded.

The Ranger has a great ride at 30 here. However, I'm looking for that max miles out of the tires and that's where I got the 33-34psi. I check tire pressure every couple weeks as we shift alot with the temps this time of year. 5° up to 40° in 1 day. I figure at 5° and sitting at 33.......might go up to around 36 with a temp of 40°. I'd rather be high on psi than low.
Yeah I generally try to fill the tires up cold at the lowest possible temp during the day but yeah we’ve been going from 20 to 60 right now so it’s all over the place. But tire pressure hasn’t really ever been something I had to worry about in my other trucks. They all rode reasonable well.

I changed my tired out soon after I bought mine, I'm running Nitto Ridge Grapplers now. Hopefully that solves your issue but it is a good idea like Rick said tom do a chalk test to make sure they wear even.
Yeah that was going to be my next step. I’ve heard good things about those tires. I’d definitely like a decent hwy tire (commute is 50 minutes to work) and one that will perform decently off-road as well. Tires will be my next item. Thought about replacing rear shocks later on as well but want to keep it stock for a while and see what/if anything actually need to be done. Appreciate it.

I check mine in the am before leaving for work. Set it and forget it I guess. I've noticed my TPMS is about 2-3psi low on the screen vs my best tire gauge. I go with my tire gauge over the TPMS.

I assume FX4s are lower PSI recommended. I think mine (4x4 non FX4) was 34-35PSI recommended?

Regardless, 40PSI is almost certainly stiffer than 30. I'd expect ride to improve.
Yeah that’s what I had originally figured.

While the Nitto's are good I probably won't get them again because they tend to wear quickly. I rotate them every 5,000 and the edges are fine it's the main tread that wore fast. Plus it's really hot here (110+) for 3 months so I'm sure that doesn't help either. I'll most likely go with the Toyo Open Country AT3's this spring.

As far as shocks they make a huge difference getting rid of the stock suspension and going with any of the main aftermarket ones. I did the Eibach and my only regret was I wish I did them sooner. Good luck!!

Same here.
Yeah who knows, could be it’s just how the truck rides or the fact that I’ve been wearing these damn thinner hey dudes my wife bought me instead of my boots lol. Suspension seems soft enough but road imperfections are pronounced. Guess it’s not too big a deal since I bought the truck to be a truck.

Appreciate it. Did you do a kit or just the rear shocks? Been reading up on Eibach.

My '22 has been smooth since new! The Bridgestones aren't the most aggressive tire out there but serves me well for my needs. I did change out my rear shocks to 5100s and I have to say the ride improved a bit! Those stock shocks are crap!

dump them like a bad habit. I never realized how bad they were until I got new tires at 38k miles. tire upgrade was almost as much of jump in performance as the shock/strut upgrade
