This is very cool and useful for us short 5" and 6" Ranger bed guys (and ladies). But damn, it's cost prohibitively expensive!

The fully loaded version for our trucks that features a color matched outer skin, the two cameras (one functions as normal and one acts as a reverse camera when the tailgate is down) and functionality off the trucks locking system rings in at $2654.00. ?

Looks kinda flimsy. I don't see that "ramp position" holding very much weight at the connection points OR at the hinge points.

And I have to say it....all that cost and no damper?

BTW, if it was made by a boomer for boomers then it would have a damper.

Just another overpriced solution looking for a problem. I'm sure they will sell a ton to the intended audience.

There are so many cheaper alternatives for things like hauling long lumber, or getting an atv into your bed.

Also its not like it gives you more carry capacity weight wise, your suspension doesn't get beefier the longer your bed is. Dumb product is dumb.

But I'm dumb so what I think is dumb may not be dumb. /shrug

And it would have more chrome than just that logo. ;)

Too bad they didn't invest in a designer so the exterior panel doesn't suck...I'd rather have my factory tailgate modified by them with the same features...probably be more cost effective and look like OEM...

No what is sad is they could have spent just a few more dollars (probably in a literal sense) to include color matched bolt/screw caps (like furniture use).

I get having exposed bolts on raw metal add-ons like racks, tailgate swing arms, etc etc - but wtf wants exposed hardware on what is suppose to look like a factory panel?

I'm not opposed to the expose bolts...I'm opposed to the exterior design that does not relate to any of the Ranger's surface language...classic manufacturing failure assuming anyone can "design"...it's a work of genius functionally...just looks cheap from the rear...

Honestly, and this will ruffle feathers, it looks like a made by a boomer for boomers kind of product.
Have you considered a support group for your open CONTEMPT of people your parents or grandparents age?

I'd make fun of millennial made car products too, but lets face it, we all know they are too lazy to develop anything.

Just like I'm not racist, I hate everyone equally.

But it's not made "for Rangers."

It's a universal product designed for multiple trucks from multiple manufacturers. While the size may change the design does not.

They should use the factory tailgate as a core and put the factory skin on each one they sell if customers wants to keep their factory styling.

Universal tailgate for those of us who are more function over form, and factory skin for those who want both.
