I sent the editor of the magazine an email yesterday asking when they would be putting the winner of this contest up on the website. Seems that’s the least they could do without me going full frontal assault on them. I’ll give it a week and see if they get the hint. Otherwise… ?

I’ll give it a little longer before stirring the pot some more and escalate the the issue. This can go all the way to reports to the BBB of their area for bait and switch tactics. But something tells me we will hear something shortly as more than one person has enquired about the results.

A couple years ago I emailed twice about my subscription not arriving and I never heard back from them. I ended up having to call there subscription office. You'd think their email would be monitored these days. I Facebook messaged them once about one of my magazine's arriving shredded up in the mail and they got back to me in hours.
I'm content waiting for now. I'll probably reach out to them the week before Christmas if I haven't heard anything from them.

Here's the thing for me, and I mean no disrespect to you or to Tread Magazine....
We here at R5G were asked to support you in what we all thought was a legitimate contest sponsored by a legitimate magazine and wheel company, and we DID come through with that support pretty much immediately and overwhelmingly. We WANT you to have those wheels. Looking back through the thread will show anyone how excited YOU are to have the opportunity to win them. It's difficult for me to see you feel like you have to wait for results when the rules seemed clear enough and a winner so clearly presented. I think that's just crap, really, and expect a large company like Tread to do better.
We want them to be held accountable for their contest, and to see those wheels on your ride asap. Certainly before Christmas!
Don't let them screw you over, John. That's all I'm saying.
