That's a nice setup. I'm trying to resist buying anything else for my Ranger right now but if she comes and installs it I might have to cave in. lol ?

$200?

By now most of you know my deal. Gucci priced for a gucci minded audience. This is an example of why there is market for 1/4 cost similar products on Amazon, all of which are probably produced on the same Chinese assembly line.

It is a freaking third brake light for heavens sake. From a price stand point this is what we call a "solution looking for a problem".

But some of us like to buy quality stuff and it comes with a 5 year warranty. Your Chinese junk is lucky to have 30 days and will most likely fall apart a lot quicker.

I have had zero failures on any of my lighting equipment. Even if I only squeezed half the the life out of them as your 5 year product they are so much cheaper you treat them as expendable maintenance items (ie; tires, brakes, etc etc) and you still come out with a better wallet for it.

But at the end of the day its your wallet, do what you want with its contents.

Edit: I take that back, I had one failure and the amazon chicom company promptly sent a replacement.

These look really nice! Just a little too steep for me at the moment. Running any give-aways?

My attempt at morimoto side markers last winter failed after two weeks. $200 isn’t that much money at the end of the day, but I don’t know what justifies that price point. Blame it on inflation, seems to be working for everything else.

Look at this photo.

This is what is the equivalent to in the firearms world as tacti-cool buzzword vomit. In what scenerio does anyone give an honest shit about this on a third brake light?

Also WTF is a "performance" brake light? That is some high speed low drag tier 1 operator right there let me tell you what. All they need is the SHAMWOW guy as a spokesman and they are sitting on a mountain of gold.

I'm not one to replace things just for appearance but that might be a thing I would. Nice looking light assembly!

The only advantage that I'd be interested in is better bed lighting but for $200, naa, I'm going to have to pass. Pretty sure I can find a better way to light my bed for under $200.

Now if they'd do that with a camera in it that I can pull up on my screen, I'd be all over it.

There are many times I wished I had a "cargo cam" just to get a quick peek at whatever I'm carrying in the bed.

Bingo, there are so many cheap AND reliable bed lighting products on the market its not even funny. Even DIY types can wire those same bed lights to come on when the cargo lights come on with one simple splice in (and by splice, I mean proper waterproof, not those dumb snap clips).

If you wanted to absolute minimalist and your phone acts as a hot spot you can buy a Wyze cam on Amazon for about $35. Though meant for buildings... I don't see why it wouldn't work in this case lol

Meh, buy once cry once.

That being said, it's cheap compared to one I saw on here recently that is pretty much a mount for 3 diode dynamics ss2 lights... The bracket with a few led's as brake lights was several hundreds... If you wanted to fill in the holes with lights, they were ~120 each.... I priced it out and it was >700 USD for a basic setup.

Granted you could put different color lights and beam patterns.... But seriously, that's a little rich for my blood.
