I think that the 2019 manual said 5.7. 2020 manual says 6. I put in what I take out and it is usually just under 6. The level is even between the two bars on the stick the next morning.

Manual says 6.2 quarts of oil needed, but anyone find that 6 quarts is just fine?

Quick and easy post this one is. ?
In my experience most engines don't drain entirely and I end falling short of the spec volume when refilling. Usually takes only 6 quarts to fill on my oil changes. Same for my VW.

Changed the oil in my buddy's Rav4 a few weeks ago and I was actually shocked to find I actually needed the recommended amount.

My dealer put extra in mine... Charged me extra for it. Overfull and not from fuel.

Next change I am doing it. I'll check it at 6 before I crack open the extra quart.
