It's a shame the tailgate is so damn heavy though... If only someone made a product to ASSIST you with DAMPENING the way it slams downwards....

i Love that truck! It is my favorite body style of ford trucks. I always watch craigslist etc. just to see if one comes up at a deal lol. dont let it go . hard to find them now that are not trashed or the owner thinks its made of platinum.My other "Ranger" does it's fair share of off-roading. Small world. Do you remember what they had it listed for at the time?I went and looked at that Ranger in NRH about a month ago! I pulled the trigger on a 2019 Lariat FX4 in Grapevine last week but had my eyes on that truck for quite some time. Congrats!
I've already put on a set of 5100 Bilsteins on the front and can feel a night and day difference regarding the bounce and roll issues from the FX4 already. I'm going to put the rears on later tonight. Only issue I am running into now is my tires are rubbing the knuckles on both sides. I think its the +55 offset factory wheels that are the issue, and need to replace with aftermarket +25 or +18 wheels.
If I remember correctly, I believe they had it listed for $42.5k when I went to look at it.Small world. Do you remember what they had it listed for at the time?
