Contact ClearView directly, ask for David Newey. Had a problem with a set of ClearView's when I got them in April. Pair did not work right from the start.
Ended up contacting them and dealt with David. They sent me a new set and paid return slip for the bad set.
Turned out the first set was wired wrong at the factory....stuff happens.
Second set has worked perfectly.
That’s good to hear they made it right for you! I emailed them yesterday after I made this post. Their support department is only open during week days. So I anticipate they’ll get back to me within a few days.

On mine I have the "all the way" set for a Lariat...the power fold didn't work right...one mirror would fold in and the other one out. They even walked me through trying to re-wire one but to no avail.
They replaced the set....shipped out a new set while I still had the bad ones on so I didn't have to put the OE back on.

I bought the Lariat ones as well, along with Lariat door harnesses for both doors. Going to attempt to get heat, puddles and turns sometime in future. There’s another pretty helpful thread on here about how to do that.

The fact that your Ranger isn't a Lariat, but you have the ClearViews for a Lariat may be part of the problem. If you noticed, there's a module in each of the mirrors that may be getting wrong" signals".
When/if you talk to David, or a tech at ClearView, make sur to tell them about it.

I glanced at the wiring diagrams, it shows fuse 36 feeding power to the switch, I don't know if it would possibility generate a (B) Body Code or a (U) Communications Code - Those codes don't generally generate a Check Engine Light as they are non-essential codes, if you have ForScan it should read it and you can reset codes if there are any. The only thing in common for both mirrors is the fuse and switch, so if the fuse is good, you MAY have pulled the connector loose off of the switch when you were installing the driver's side mirror (shortest wire run)
I highly suggest hooking up Forscan or a Scanner that can read body codes due to the fact that the BCM has internal protection called (FET) Field Effect Transmitter which is basically a virtual circuit breaker, and it will only reset after the fault is repaired AND CODE RESET. Although I did not see this in the mirror system. I know it exists with the exterior lighting system though. So, it's just a possibility that I would pass along. It's been about 30 years since I worked in automotive maintenance professionally and my truck is the first thing, I have owned that has the newest CAN Network Protocol, so I'm just now dipping my toes into it and how far advanced they are now compared to the 90's (Heck I left when all we had was OBD-1)

@ArizonaRangers installed these - maybe he had a similar issue but resolved it.

Eric - you out there?
Yes, very similar problems. I installed the driver side and everything worked. When I installed the passenger side it didn't and then the drivers side didn't either. Sounded like a fuse so I tracked it down and checked. Yes it was blown. Figured the passenger side caused the problem. Took it back apart and discovered a nicked wire. Its like telephone wires. Not sure the fuse actually would protect it for an over current problem rather than a dead short. Repaired the wire problem. Then went to 3 different auto parts stores to find the goofy size fuse. Works fine now.

Also, I'm still looking to sell my oem mirrors if anyone wants them. Taking up too much space in my garage. Make me an offer.

I purchased a set of Clearview Compact Towing Mirrors for my 21 Ford Ranger XLT. Installation went very smoothly, but unfortunately the power glass adjustment no longer works. When I first hooked the battery back up, the passenger side adjusted, so I switched to the driver side but that didn’t work. So I switched back to the passenger side and that no longer worked. I then plugged my factory mirrors back in and they won’t work either. I’ve looked online, other threads here, calling Ford and I cant figure out why they won’t work. I’ve pulled quite a few fuses, and used a test light to check the others. I thought it was fuse 36 in the passenger fuse compartment(mirror adjustment control). Anybody have any ideas?
Hello, I was wondering if you have figured this out. I just bought a pair of Clearview Mirrors and had the same thing happen. What did you end up doing to fix this issue.

Thanks

The mirror glass adjustment switch fried. I bought and replaced it twice and it still kept frying. So I ended up returning the mirrors. I’m assuming it’s because I bought the ones with heat and puddles and I only have an xlt. My intention was to install them with the lariat door harness, but because of an upcoming trip I just put the mirrors on first.
