The mirror glass adjustment switch fried. I bought and replaced it twice and it still kept frying. So I ended up returning the mirrors. I’m assuming it’s because I bought the ones with heat and puddles and I only have an xlt. My intention was to install them with the lariat door harness, but...

I bought the Lariat ones as well, along with Lariat door harnesses for both doors. Going to attempt to get heat, puddles and turns sometime in future. There’s another pretty helpful thread on here about how to do that.

That’s good to hear they made it right for you! I emailed them yesterday after I made this post. Their support department is only open during week days. So I anticipate they’ll get back to me within a few days.

I haven’t hooked it up to a code reader, but there were not any warning lights or messages in the dash. I’ve already got a service appointment scheduled next month so worst case I’ll have them take a look.

I just took off the tweeter speaker cover and unplugged the connector from the stock mirrors, and plugged it back into the new mirrors.

I didn’t think to do that. Will be later today as I don’t have a test light at my house. Thank you

Thanks for the info and suggestion. Just replaced fuse 36 and no dice.

I’ve checked all of the fuses in the 3 fuse boxes with a test light while the key was in accessory position. I was really hoping it was just a fuse but couldn’t find anything. Do you think there is a fusible link behind the mirror control switch? Thanks

Thanks I’ll try taking the battery cables off for a while. I took them off for about an hour this morning and they didn’t start working. Not sure about a wiring issue as the stock mirrors will not work either
