I loved that truck!! Mine had the black roll bar and push bar instead of the chrome so it was even cooler than the pic. It was black with the three color tan stripes and tan interior. Did ALOT of hard core four wheeling in that beast. First mod was mud terrain tires!!
I bet that truck was a BEAST in the mud!

It was!!! I pulled my buddys F250 out a few times. It was a good climber too, used to go to the gravel pits and climb hills. Good old days before civilization took all my wheeling spots.

I've had a lot of vehicles since I got my license in 1985, my 2020 Ranger is I believe 6th or 7th truck. For a bit of fun, what was your first daily driver, and then your first Ford daily driver? My first DD was an 81 Dodge Omini 024, my first Ford was a 72 Gran Torino I had in the early 90's.

1963 Galaxy 4-door. 289V8 and automatic. Cost $250 and had a rattle can paint job in dark grey and smoked like a chimney when idling. Didn’t last long!

Classic Truck! Just passed that sign last month coming home from Flagstaff. How's this for a lowered truck? :)...

'01 Ford Courier with the 2.5 turbo diesel, manual. Not a single piece of electronic-ery on that car apart from maybe the odometer. It was my Dad's old ute and me and my 4 brothers all learned to drive in it, living out in the country with plenty of dirt roads. Many fond memories. A family friend walloped a kangaroo and wrote it off.

My first Ford that was actually paid for with my own money was an '08 Ranger Supercab 2WD with the 3.0L diesel, manual. I constantly kicked myself for not getting a 4x4, but it was a great truck anyway. The engine was an absolute beauty. Traded it in on a Falcon ute.

Oh fun thread. Mine was a 66 Mustang in 2001. Bone stock beater in springtime yellow. My father had it a few years and decided to sell it, I told him I thought it was a cool car and he let me have it on my 18th bday. Since then she has been through a couple motors, trans, diffs, etc and more trouble with cops than I would have liked lol So many good memories. I still have her but family has had it frozen in time for about the past 8yrs. She still runs though, I just couldn't feel safe going down the dragstrip without some TLC.

A 1963 1/2 Ford Galaxie 500 XL with a 390...
Later built it 3/4 TRW race...about 450 HP
Had a whole in the back trunk... Would get my buddies in back seat... Do a massive burn out... Would smoke them out in the back seat... What fun...
