I kinda saw the same moon from my backyard, with my cheap binoculars...but my hands were shaking and I couldn't get a really nice steady look at it.

We're at North Carolina Outer Banks this week. Got an AMAZING lightning show last night. Pics really don't do it justice.

This is the sunset I was able to capture with my camera. Absolutely gorgeous.
I spent a lot of time trying to master longer exposures. This was 1/6 sec shutter. I learned that I need a ND filter, as all my longer exposures were over exposed.
The Lone Cypress
This boat followed us while we were on 17 Mile Drive. It lent itself to a really monochromatic image. One of my favorites.
