Anyone NOT use vehicle wifi hotspot?

Anyone not use the wifi hotspot? Should I just get unlimited data plan? I have unlimited calls but only so much data per month to use.

Dealership didn’t activate the vehicle SIM card and it sounds like it’s going to be a PITA for them to do it. ?‍

UPDATE:: hotspot now suddenly works AFTER I spent all weekend downloading songs to a flash drive. ?????‍??

Most have a data plan on their cell phone. What is the advantage of having a vehicle hot spot?

Nope. Don't need to pay extra for it. Never activated the wife's car, either.

Same plan and have great coverage. Figure if my phone won't have service, the truck probably won't either.

My Ipad 4 mini doesn't have sim card so I use my phone's hot spot...I can't think of a reason Ford offered this feature other than that...then again, 100% of drivers already have a phone with hot spots...

Tried the trial never used it. Ridiculous cost, use your cell phone as a hotspot.

I did not activate. Don't need the added expense and don't need a Hotspot for just driving it to and from work most days.
