Common knowledge says "pretty damn effective"

... but I've seen quite a few posts around here lately arguing that it 'probably won't do as much as you'd think'

So yesterday, I took it upon myself to find out.

Spoiler alert.... it's a big difference.

No need for me to watch your video since i myself have some such before as well. When I did it onthe Ranger I actually found it to be way more flexible and more fun to hit the trails. It did take some time to get used to though because the truck seems to be a little bit more prone to walking sideways on its own over bumps. Other then that I think it's great.

My only question is around brake line clearance at full tuck/droop. Are they in a good spot still? Even with 33+ tires, etc

We havnt heard much (any?) in the way of "rubbed through my brake hoses off-road" around here, so I wouldn't really worry about it. We got enough off-roaders here where if it was an issue it probably would of showed up by this point.

Eh.. I just like building what looks to be sketchy wooden crap to scare the neighbors with.

A few years agoI build a scrapwood gantry to haul a motor&trans out of a Nissan sentra, my neighbors walked by and were convinced I was gonna be dead on their way back... I was fine lol. Always gives me a good chuckle.
