I must have forgotten. Kinda curious about what you went with on suspension now.

Alrighty, so I got the sway bar disconnects installed Friday. I also replaced my tires as the Bridgestone Revo 3's were worn out for my comfort level. I now have Firestone Destination XT's in 285/70-17 and with the Old Man EMU they don't rub what so ever even offroad!!! Here are some pictures that you guys were wanting to travel. Now mind you I was at max flex before the disconnects and had the rear left tire off the ground and now the truck isnt at max flex in the picture but yet close.

I will also add that with the tires at 18 psi and the sway bar disconnected it is real close to the perfect ballance for comfort and control offroad!!!

Ok so slight update, after this post I got into some turns at full flex up front and started to rub the front crash bars. Thankfully an easy fix. Remove the plastic covers and move the crash bars forward. After that its all good!!

Great pics. So the question remains, how much additional travel did you get with the bar disconnected? What was the difference between connected vs disconnected?

How do you like the new tires so far?

So because I was not maxed out there disconnected I can't say the full extent of how much travel I gained. Well not a full measurement at least. Before the disconnects in the same spot my rear left tire would come off the ground about 1 inch. As you see they are all touching right now.

Comfort wise? Freaking awesome!!! It makes the suspension a true independent up front and let's the suspension do its job Offroad wich is what you want. I still kept it slow(no more than 20) and was enjoying the ride way more!!

The tires I really like!! I did not have to deal with mud at all that trip(depends on weather honestly) and only 3 minor water crossings. The tires preformed well. I'm sure the disconnects took part in some of it. To say the least I highly recommend the Firestone Destination XT even though i only had them since Saturday.

Great info none the less. Thanks!
Here are some pictures of the tires clearance for the front crash bar after adjustment and the knuckle clearance. The front crash bar will still rub a little but after some tire wear it will be fine.
