Unscheduled Lariat 2022 orders LED headlight delete - is $500 credit enough?

After just reading this I went and looked at my sticker of my two month old truck. No LED lights. LED headlights is one of the many reasons I wanted a Lariat.

Let’s face it Ford is all about EVs, filling Bronco orders and Raptors. My current truck is a good vehicle as far as my next I don’t plan on buying a lightning so doubtful it will be a Ford. I think Ford needs to build less vehicles that are properly optioned out and stop coming up with a million packages. Lariats should not leave the factory without LEDs in 2022. Also feel they should be standard on all but work/fleet vehicles. Ford needs to get there shit straight and fix their supply chains before bringing out new models.

Supposed to be 'standard equipment' on the Lariat. Now wishing my 2020 Chrysler had the optional HID self leveling projectors. Laser Headlights are now the latest technology....

Standard LED Signature Lighting on the Lariat. My custom order has a line showing they were deleted from it.

The wiring is the same between both halogen and LED equipped trucks, at least on the USDM Ranger. You can swap one for the other and they plug right in. Changing a couple of settings in Forscan is all that is needed for the truck to properly control the LEDs if it came with halogens stock. I did this on mine.

How do you do the forscan? I thought the headlights were plug-n-play.

Just got my custom ordered super cab and they did the $500 delete on both fog lights and headlights and debating whether to go the eBay route for the actual lariat headlight assemblies which would run around 1200 for both or go aftermarket for a little bit more. Very disappointing.

Get Morimoto lights. 5 year warranty, plug and play. I luv my LED lights, but ebay is hit or miss. And nice supercab - we have almost identical trucks, but for the color.

At $1200 for both you are obviously looking at used OEM lights. New they they run that much each.

Sharp truck! I'm still doing a little customizing on mine but will throw some more photos out when I finish. I got mine in Velocity Blue.

I have been looking around also. I can purchase reconditioned Ford factory LEDs (all mounting tabs in tact) for $1900 per pair. Can buy new from Ford (parts guy in this forum) for about $2300 per pair. The Morimoto run about $1350 per pair. I can't seem to find but only a single part number for the fog lights from Ford. Can anybody verify that there are definitely different fog lights (LED vs. non-LED)?

I can confirm they are two different foglights.
