Thanks!…..Lift or level, not sure of the proper name…. Like a 3 to 3 1/2 inch coil over (maybe fox) with upper arms (brand to be determined) and new wheels and tires at the same time. 17’s for sure.Congrats.....What will be the first thing you do to it?

I'll be there right there with you on this journey!Parden my question, but why so much lift? You will definitely need UCAs. You are also looking at needing a differential drop at that level. Do you tow?Thanks!…..Lift or level, not sure of the proper name…. A solid ‘break in’ trip if Ranger wasn’t abused. My experience, especially with recent vehicles is the drivetrains aren’t fully broke in until around 20,000 miles.Hi all…. We ordered her seven months and one day ago from Granger motors Ford dealer in Granger Iowa. She arrived at the dealer this last Tuesday and we (loving wife and I)picked her up Thursday afternoon. We live in Hawthorne California, which is right next to LAX airport. About a 25 hour drive and or 1,700 mile trip. 3 eight hour days of driving with totally Bitchin sight seeing all the way home! Nebraska farmlands, Colorado Rockies and way beyond beautiful Utah mountains through at least six states. Anyhow, Da goal…. Something like a 3 1/2 inch coil over of good to above quality with upper arms and not sure what size tires and 17 inch wheels. Thanks all!…………………………………………………..…………………….. *******Update : THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!! For the super welcome and beyond kind words on our new ride. This group is REALLY something else. Cool, calm and collect bunch of folks. You guys are GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you again!

Not sure of anything yet. 41 page post on lifts I need to read up on here still. I do know I do not want a 5-6” BDS lift for me. A good Coilover plus arms I believe.Parden my question, but why so much lift? You will definitely need UCAs. You are also looking at needing a differential drop at that level. Do you tow?
I know it is a personal thing. And you do you, but I don’t think they look that good jacked up that much.
I'm sure someone will chime in with different thoughts but it's my understanding that anything much over 2.5 inches should have a differential drop to minimize front shaft CV angles. Not sure of anything yet. 41 page post on lifts I need to read up on here still. Nice of you to document your maiden voyage with Ranger. I take it you didn't stay at the Super 8?Saturday 12:30 lunch time in Beaver, Utah. Back home to Los Angeles by midnight.

Wow! Just Wow!…… No Super 8 for us. One bad experience was enough. The first night was Hampton Inn in Nebraska. 2nd night was Hampton Inn, Evanton, Wyoming. Both good.Nice of you to document your maiden voyage with Ranger. I take it you didn't stay at the Super 8?
Oh, I have a story to tell. About a decade ago, I was driving from a full day with multiple customers in the SLC area to Idaho Falls to visit a customer the next afternoon. Have always had good experiences with Super 8 Hotels overall, and part of our Corporate Lodging itinerary.
It was getting dark and I decided to stop at the Super 8 - Ogden. Parking lot was suspicious right off of the bat - numerous vehicles with men sitting in them, like they were waiting for something or someone.
I checked in - lobby was rough - clerk had a super thick hindi accent. My room was absolutely awful. Mold, broken window, broken a/c - non stop red flags. Didn't even bother to unpack. Went back to the front desk, running into what appeared to be a hooker entourage.
I casually mentioned they may want to go to a different hotel - clerk overheard me and yelled 'Get Out! I cancel your room!". The 'entourage appeared unperturbed - suspect they were regular customers and I had stumbled onto a 'regular event'. The Sleep Inn at the next exit north was much better and knew of the Super 8's rep - it was common knowledge locally apparently.
Back when Trip Advisor was reputable, I read up on the property in question - just truly incredible. Hoping its been 'cleaned up' in the meantime.
