LOL - when I was in TX I was always wanting pork BBQ, now that I am here I only go to places with good brisket!

Other side of 55. Apex is awesome but ever since we got voted best small town its gotten crowded and now all they build are town homes.

That close to down town there are some great old homes
They just moved into a single family new build. Tight Lot but they love the walkability.

At least you're inside of the half finished 540 loop. I'm reminded about the 840 loop half way around Nashville, TN on the southside. All of the foreign invaders know all of the 'good stuff' is always inside of 'the loop'. Duke and USC - Columbia 'screwed the pooch' again I see...what a friggin mess.....

First full day at home with it, so to make @AzScorpion proud, put on the first application of 303 Graphine (actually 2 applications on the hood). Impressive, if I say so myself, the black looks almost like a mirror I’m these pics.

Wow, I thought my hood had a nice shine but the black really is like looking in a mirror. You might have to tint your windshield now or you'll be blinded by the sun. lol Glad to see you finally got everything worked out getting your Ranger! Now you can join all of us broke R5G members.?

You could go broke just adding in all the deleted items, let alone starting on the mods…

When my wife sees me on the tablet she asks me if I am looking at truck porn again. When I came back Friday without the Ranger she told me she could understand how disappointing it could be as my truck porn addiction had probably built up a lot of expectation to only be disappointed when I didn’t get to experience a happy ending.

Gave my truck (or any vehicle for that matter) its first clay treatment this weekend. Used a 303 clay mitt. I didn't expect much but was really impressed. Not only brought out the shine, but feels so smooth. It was worth the effort.

Swapped the FX4 stickers something custom. Sister-in-law made the design and an Etsy shop made them for ~$20. Local vinyl installer quoted $200 so this had to be a DIY. ?

Just a little joke between my wife and I. She's a herpetologist whose research has her out in the woods catching tree frogs and tadpoles then taking them back to her lab at USF for experiments. Thus our truck is the Amphibian Transport Vehicle!

Well this is more of what I didn't do to my Ranger today.

Went out to the garage to change the rear differential oil in my 2022 Ranger Tremor.
Only has 1,500 miles but having read in other posts that drained fluid on similar milage Rangers looked suspect, I thought this was worthwhile.

I was stopped in my tracks when I discovered no drain plug on the differential housing.
Yes I could see the flat casting where it would be machined. But Ford in their infinite wisdom decided to save a few bucks and not provide drain point other than removing the differential cover. So now I have to source a new gasket first.

I find this unacceptable. What would have been a simple maintenance item is now much more time consuming and messy.
Not the end of the world. But if you were not inclined to work on your own vehicle and had to rely on the dealer. You are now paying for a lot more labor time.

Ford, your customers deserve better.

It's always a good idea to remove the cover when changing the differential oil, for obvious reasons. A proper inspection.... :)

i got a drill and a tap i can help!

but nah that does kinda suck but i will say this! on my 13 tacoma it had a drain and when it came time to change my fluid my rear diff it had been hit a time or two offroad so i had to cut the nut guard on the diff so i could even access it! now if you are not going offroad then there is no issue here but if you do wheel the truck not having that drain point will be such a nice feature! because all you gotta do is unbolt the back side instead of fighting with a drain plug

No dent, fortunately. Just scratched clean down to the metal. I figure I'll just get some touch up paint from the dealer. If anyone notices after that, well...there a lil too close to my truck for their own good...haha.

I'm just bummed it didn't happen while doing something fun or cool like off roading.
