I still use one! Keep my house keys on it and don't need them always as I have a keypad deadbolt.
LOL I need a key for my truck (only one of 3 that has a key) and I don't need a key for my house!
At work I'm in and out of the office and different trucks all day so I use a camelback/backpack to hold all of my stuff. I don't keep anything in my pockets because losing something important, wallet, keys, etc., on route would be devastating.

I generally don't go anywhere other than work during the week, and my Ranger is garaged.

My truck keys get tossed into my work bag Sunday evening and don't come out usually 'till Friday morning.

The keyless entry is pretty darn convenient and for me it was one of those pieces of tech I can't go back from. Like a DVR or a smartphone, there's no going back!

Unless that $1500 is going to change your life, just leave the Lariat order. It's a nice truck and leather is easy to clean.
Ugh again it's not about the money. It's about spending the money for the Lariat and not getting the LED headlights. I'm weighing the options of taking a chance on the Lariat or just playing it safe and ordering the XLT and adding LEDs later.

Some (not on this forum thankfully) will automatically assume that you didn't get the top level because of $$$.

It can be amazing on the Jeep forum if you have anything that's not a Rubicon, since lockers, 4:1 transfer case, and swaybar disconnects are a requirement for crawling over mall curbs.

Oh my bad. I guess I didn't understand that from the original post. Sorry if this is redundant, but what is it about LEDs that you like?

Obviously purpose built LEDs can be way brighter, but the OEM halogens do their job. I've been exploring various national forests throughout the US over the past few years on "overland" style trips. Only time I wished for more light is when I had to get out and do shit around the truck.

For the rest of the features, even my 301A feels pretty loaded out with the nice infotainment, all the USB ports, the 110V outlet, etc.. The power seats would have been nice, but I had trouble finding a 302A that also had FX4, Sport, and tow packages. Leather would have been good for cleaning, but overall I don't feel like I am missing out with the 301A XLT.

Waited three months to order a 2023 Lariat. Couldn’t get everything so lucky to find a 2022 Lariat on a dealer lot with LED lights. Love the smaller truck. Miss my cooled seats, power rear window and 36 gal. gas tank on my F-150. Once I have driven a loaded vehicle I will never have less

I have bad night vision and LED headlights help with that. On top of that they have a brighter and wider spread that lights up the edge of the road further out. I live in the country and drive to work at night. Critter spotting well in advance.

I've been running LED headlights as far back as 2008 in my Harleys. But I will not run LED bulbs in a halogen reflector housing. They are not designed for them and all they do is spread brighter and whiter light everywhere with no pattern or cut-off. I don't care what people say that run them in their halogen housings. It's the incorrect way to go an unsafe for other drivers.

The Lariat does not come with chrome, it has body colored bumpers just like the XLT and they both come with bright trim on the grill. Chrome package is an extra cost option on both XLT and Lariat.
My XLT Sport package does not have any chrome except the bad two-piece lugnuts and Ford badges. The grille, bumpers wheels and wheel well trim are all Magnetic. Got rid of the Ecoboost badge and changed the lugnuts, only thing left chrome is around the Ford badges front and back. Working on changing them.

Ok so you for sure need bright, effective lights. You might benefit from an aftermarket option regardless of which truck you get.

Are people suggesting you put LED bulbs in the halogen lamps? People are whack lol

Not really suggesting. Just saying what they have done. I remember when people were retrofitting HID bulbs in reflector housings years ago. It was comical how they said how much better they could see at night. Same goes for those Silverstar bulbs. Pure snake oil.

Wait a minute, you don't get an analog tach with a Lariat? Ouch, did not even know.
On the left display an analog tach is one of the configuration choices. I have mine set to show the majority of the time to display the tach, water temp and fuel level.

My preferred setup over there as well.

Yes you can have one if you select it. With a 10 speed automatic, how often do you really look at the tach? This isnt a 5.0 with a manual 6 speed.

I love the lariat dash. I still have a useful nav screen right above my sterring wheel while my 9" display is on audio.

The led headlight are awesome. The led fogs could use improvement like dyode dynamics.
