PYT backed into my Ranger at the Farmer's Market

The real question is, would you have gone ballistic if it wasn't a PYT, but a burly, red headed man in a muscle shirt as hairy as a wooly mammoth?

You probably right, although I am sure this forum doesn't get the traffic FB does. Her profile is available to the world. But since I satisfied the curious, I deleted it.

That cam looks nice . I'm in the market for one and would like to see where you mounted it in the Ranger. If you have a link to any video that would be nice . It's had to tell which one to get cause you can't trust any of the reviews on sites like Amazon . I would like one that can do rear facing video like this one .

I have this Thinkware U1000 4K front and rear cam. It has great clarity which I wanted for cases like this one. Here's a post I made with pictures of where it's mounted and some pics from the camera both day and night.

Damn, honey, how do you back up that far? I used to have that same model Escape before I got the Ranger, and she's gone about three times further back than she needed to. Still, props to her for doing the right thing and owning up to it.

What dashcam do you have and how is it mounted if you don't mind .

It's a Garmin DriveAssist 51. It's a GPS with built-in dashcam. I am using the suction cup mount that came with it. It falls off every once in a while.

At my age PYT means nothing if you damage my Ranger. Better have her insurance information ready. That PYT thing cost me plenty in the past. Can't imagine how many care she would hit in a tight spot.

My dashcam records with voice. Easier with possible insurance cases and also it may record useful information about unexpected technical issue.
I suggest rear cam aswell, or at least to cover more area than just front. Some years ago I was driving a BMW and a big truck came in to me from driver’s side. I was on the bridge, saw it coming and acceleration saved me from the worst. Truck driver told he didn’t see me - I was too small… No recording, but we solved it.
I still own this BMW as project, there are only few left of them in my country.

Mine has audio as well. Rear view would be nice.
