Nice rides.Obligatory brag shots, some of these are a couple months old... but better late than never.
Were the stripes a wet or dry installation?Got them from Ford, they were like $80, not very difficult to install. Look great on the saber color, thinking about getting hood stripes.
Jeff
Dry, you only get one chance, make sure you clean area twice. You have to lay them out by eye, put very top of backing all the way to back of hood for alignment. I think I have some progress photos on I phone, if it helpsWere the stripes a wet or dry installation?
I presume the side speed stripes were also dry install?Dry, you only get one chance, make sure you clean area twice. You have to lay them out by eye, put very top of backing all the way to back of hood for alignment. I think I have some progress photos on I phone, if it helps
If you situate it juuuust right, or modify it, you can still use the backup camera. I have no experience with the Dakine. The Fox one is a bit cheaper, but I just went with it because I had the bigger version on my F150.Nice rides.
How do you like that Fox pad? Any reason to go with it over the Dakine?
Yes they are and somewhat easier to install, you have to split the difference between level and rake of truck.I presume the side speed stripes were also dry install?
Cool. Thanks for the info.If you situate it juuuust right, or modify it, you can still use the backup camera. I have no experience with the Dakine. The Fox one is a bit cheaper, but I just went with it because I had the bigger version on my F150.
Where did you find a Bluff in Clearwater? The second picture doesn't do it justice but that's about 130ft in the air in the good ole flat state of Florida. It was I believe a 40-50° angle climbing up it. I didn't look at the angle feature that comes on the dashboard but I will next time.
The third picture is my roommates 1st Gen raptor
We have an off-roading place here that is an old sand and limestone mine. So completely man made. Also I had to Google what a Bluff was because I've never heard of it refered to as that.Where did you find a Bluff in Clearwater?
Ha! I was going to guess "landfill".We have an off-roading place here that is an old sand and limestone mine. So completely man made.
