i may have already asked but how was this to sleep in? did you feel cramped up in the shorter bed? was the tent a pain in the aft end to set up ? I have looked at those several times and keep telling myself I hate messing with tents lol. but that one looks like less straps and setup than others I have seen.Fitted the new tent! Hi Mark,i may have already asked but how was this to sleep in? did you feel cramped up in the shorter bed? was the tent a pain in the aft end to set up ? that is good news, thank you! i expected you to say it was kinda cramped up.Hi Mark,
Haven't slept in it yet (just got it delivered yesterday). I can tell you my air bed just fits and is plenty long for me (I'm 5'7") and given the amount of head room it feels bigger than it is. First time setting up took about a half hour, I'm guessing with a little practice I can cut that down in half. To be honest it's not that different than any other tent with the exception that it fits in the bed of the truck.
Well the flares went in the trash. They were junk and poorly formed. Where the 2 pieces meet on the front fender they wouldn't line up or lay flat at the joint. There was plastic ribbing on back that prevented them from laying flat enough. It damaged my paint. So just built up with touch up paint and let it dry for a good amount of time then wet sand and blend back in. Arghhh......mJust polished it up to take a drive to my 2 hour massage. ? My fender flares arriving today. So they'll be on by tomorrow.
Just arrived.

You need to get out more.I started it up for the first time in a month lol, probably should take it out this weekend for a drive and invest in a solar battery maintainer ?
Here are bed rack options for you from Max Modular. Multiple height options and they are compatible with most tonneau covers: https://www.max-modular.com/ford-ranger-years-2019-to-presentPost a pick with your canoe on if you don't mind. I have been debating whether a bed rack or roof rack is a better way to go for a 16ft canoe. In my mind, 16ft canoe on a 5ft bed leaves a whole lot of overhang. Interested to see your setup.
And some Sta-Bil.I started it up for the first time in a month lol, probably should take it out this weekend for a drive and invest in a solar battery maintainer ?
