We may need to start a new thread for those that ordered 2022 that got built AND delivered AFTER the 2023 get built and delivered. If my 2022 gets scheduled in September (last month of MY2022 production) but shipping delays cause it to be deleivered after my local dealers have 2023's in stock, I will not be a happy camper. :lipssealed: :computerrage:
I won't accept mine if that happens.

I am with you. I already decided I was not going to purchase a 'previous' model year on a retail order placed 8 months prior to the end of Model Year production. At least not without some sort of incentive discount.

Hello Rangers
My XL shop truck hopped a freight and showed up at the dealer last Thursday, July 7th. It eas reported shipped on June 19 and no rail tracking info was ever provided. I'm in the Tampa, Fl area so the trip took about three weeks.
I picked it and every thing was clean and detailed very well.
I'm not a truck person but it drives pretty much like a car, not lumbering like the larger pickups. I'm building a new garage/hot rod shop at my house so this will serve nicely as the 'Shop Truck'
One thing I noticed the spray in bed liner was finished very well with no sloppy edges or overspray like I see on after market spray jobs.

I did notice the squishy brake pedal but it seems to have improved with a few miles, maybe it's me getting used to it. Acceleration and shifting seems pretty smooth and I'm not seeing the jerkiness others have reported.
So good luck to all of you guys and gals patiently waiting.

Hey Tom
I see you are from Tampa. I'm in Lutz. Interesting thing is your join date April 11 is my birthday.

Anyway, what is your Ranger build and what kind of progress have you heard from Ford? Who is your dealer? I've been dealing with Parks n Ford of Wesley Chapel..

Hey guys, long time reader, first time poster…..just wondering if anyone has similar situation or an idea as to why delay? Ordered XLT crew on Jan 18, built in April and first of many shipping notices in middle of May, thought things were going good, still no truck? I’ve gotten an updated shipping date pretty much weekly since, still no truck at dealer. Dealer has called Ford, always same thing, ‘they say will be here end of week’ was first told in May it was loaded on a carrier, kicker is my dealer is only four hours away from plant! I am in Ontario Canada. Must be takin scenic route? Possibly thru Florida, then Alaska? I’ve seen Rangers at other dealers as well as mine that were built in May and even one there now built in June! What gives? Any insight would be great? Congrats to all whom have gotten their trucks, I’m looking forward to it being worth the wait!

Brian, I'd like to say, welcome to purgatory.
Your issue is far different than most here.
I recommend this guy for help.

Thanks Don…..while I do have a ‘freight ID’ my unit will be going by ‘convoy’ as my close proximity to the plant. The order track app site still only shows ASN and has never varied in over 65 days now? I do believe that the fuel hike that came right after mine was built is at play here, maybe I got boxed in the back of yard if/when convoy orders slowed? Would explain why newer units built have arrived and not mine? Just frustrated that if it’s the case they just won’t say?!?! Or if other reason just tell me, not just keep hearing ‘end of week it should be here’. Ugly stepchild at play again? lol ?‍♂ Thanks for any input thou and other ways I may track. ✌

Hang tight, it will come. Mine was 3 months sitting in a mud field. It was awful when it got here. Dealer did a crappy job cleaning it up. Took me about 4 hours to detail it. It is worth the wait, although 7 months for me Seemed a bit much.
