How about a lowered (5" is the sweet spot) King Ranch with the Godzilla ? Manual tranny , of course...

Just be aware that there are certain things like the air bag system that you dont want to mess with unless you are aware of what you are doing. Messing with the air bag system does carry a bunch af safety risk with it.

I think the forums that serve the not as high volume cars end up being the best. Before the Ranger, I had been in VW TDI land for the last decade. The TDI Club forum was awesome as it was more specific, while VW Vortex, which covered the wider VW world, was just a hole that you could fall into. We just got my wife an Outback and the Outback forum is not as cool as Ranger 5G either.

I'm trying to fix a problem on my Honda Odyssey relating to an airbag light. The betas on the Odyssey forum aren't interested in fixing anything, they just fold over and want you to take everything to the dealer.

I just wanted to pat ourselves on the backs for a good forum with a great spirit of problem solving. Nowhere else have I seen such a crazy bunch of serial hackers willing to brick their trucks on projects like this, this, or this.

Well I don’t know but I’m gonna say people on a minivan forum, even though it’s Hondas, are probably quite different than the folks putting JC Whitney Turbos and coffee can mufflers on 98 Civics..

No enthusiast forum I've ever been on even comes close to therangerstation.com in terms of technical library's, knowledgeable members, or general attitude. Not many members with a 5g though.. Definitely majority old rangers.
