Turning 62 is not a horrible confession! It is a declaration of achievement! (And I am not far behind you chronologically) Especially if you retired prior to 62. Way to go!

I got lucky, well lots of hard work, and retired 3 years ago.

That's our generation. Lot's of hard work. . If I had managed my money a little better when I was younger instead of all the mods to my '73 F100, '81 F150, '68 GT350, '73 Firebird, etc., etc., etc. maybe I would be retiring early as well.

New to the group. I ordered a new 22 Ranger Lariat 4x2 Supercab on Apr. 14, 2022. I just got notice today from my dealer that it has been built. How long did it take you guys to get your truck delivered after you were notified it was built?.

The worst wait was to see "awaiting shipment" for 5 weeks. And then it took 13 days to be shipped at the dealer.

The best years of your life are ahead of you. I dropped out of the workforce 17 years ago and up till last year they were the best years of my life. Last year my second Pfizer shot screwed up my immune system so it's been tough. But having the time to try and learn new things makes every day seem like a holiday. I learned to grow and preserve all my veggies, design and build machinery I wanted , started building furniture from wood I mill in my backyard and much more. 8 years ago a friend convinced me others would like to learn about the things I do and talked me into starting a YouTube channel. Well that took off and it's amazing the income it provides with all the affiliate sales.
The day I walked away from the workforce I had no idea where it would lead me and how I was going to survive. Didn't take long till I realized it was the best move I had ever made. Enjoy your retirement and if you develop skills others can benefit from a YouTube channel is a fun way to provide extra income.

Those who’ve had their builds pushed back, how soon before the build date did they notify you?

Im scheduled for last week of June. I’m just assuming it’ll be delayed, so don’t want to sell my current truck to early

Yeah, so although it is kinda funny I'll defend the Ridgeline a bit. Styling isn't for me, but I think it looks better than it used too. That's not saying much , as previous mentioned I like the Subaru brat.
Hondas still have dang good reliability. Not what it was in the 80s and 90s but what is? It's funny I was just talki g to my kids about the truck. I think it's today's version of an el Camino. Best blend of car and truck.
I read a review last night and they felt it was pretty good all around for light truck use.
Jack of all master of none maybe? But for urban use, plus the awd I bet it's a pretty good option for many.
My wife would argue that the kotex with wings is dang good when you need it?

Yea every time I have to pick up those damn things for my wife it feels like I'm ordering a new loaded lariat? heavy light wing's no wing's thick thin ultra thin 18" 20" wide tonneau cover step bars the list goes on and on !!! Those damn things have more damn choices than a two story buffet !!!

That was my problem. I believed my dealer when he said 8-12 weeks and sold my truck a month ago.

Same with me. I believed my dealer and sold my car a couple days before the date. That was over 2 months ago and still no Ranger.

That's nice. Ordered 4 days after and still no word on a build date or vin. @Jbrubakerjr any build week updates? Or where do you find them, on blue oval?
