After Flagstaff we headed to Monument Valley to check out the sites. I listed details on how they formed in the first post. It's pretty amazing seeing these up close and the road is a giant dust bowl so all that hard work detailing gone to waste. I'll have to find a car wash tomorrow and give it a bath. lol
Thanks again for all the kind words and suggestions. We just rolled into Colorado around 7:00 pm so we're off to get something to eat and crash early. Been up since 3:30 and it's a long day.
This darn truck always seems to impress me every time I drive it. Now I filled up in Flagstaff and averaged 75 mph and at times 85 mph and got 26.7 mpg!
I've recalculated the fuel adjustment a while back so it's very close and this is through a lot of different elevation changes where 6,000"-7,000' were average.
