In an attempt to keep robins from roosting and crapping on my truck, I borrowed a trick of grandma‘s that I recall from my childhood. I’ve placed tin foil in very strategic locations. Will it work? Who knows - birds still ate her raspberries.

At the very least, maybe I’ll be able to drive as fast as I want. ?

Copycat! Mines been about 2 years now, maybe 1 little spot showing thru despite all the bugs I washed off...tailgate still perfect.

Buy some fake rubber snakes. Common tactic for gardens, or keeping birds out of nooks you don't want them creating nests in.

Thanks for the helpful tips! I think they’ve started using the tinfoil as nesting material.

Cleaned up the engine bay today, at work. Missed a few of the nooks and crannies on the side of the intake and the fan shroud. Oh well.

I need to go to my local Discount Tire and order tires. Online won't let me select 255/80/17s, because they are not the OE size and I can't find a truck that came with that size factory.
