Well maybe the franchise owner in Langley might want to read that line again before offering you a 150.00 in store credit that doesn’t actually correct the problem.
Years and years ago (like late 80’s) when I got a set of winter tires put on my car at Canadian Tire they didn’t put back my all seasons. I didn’t notice that till I got home to put my tires away in the shed. I went back and the service guy looked at me blankly and said we probably already tossed them into the junk pile so they couldn’t do anything about it. Somehow they thought that was good enough reason and tried to send me on my way. Yeah that didn’t go over too well. They miraculously found my tires pretty quick. I think cause I was in my teens they thought they could get away with some lame excuse. Nope.
at the end of day -it would take less energy and stress if businesses just owned up to mistake and make things Right. (And vice versa when the customer is wrong).
as a fellow Canuck and lower mainland resident I really want to see how they make it right.
