Hey, I get it - the shop should do something. People are climbing all over them like this is some atrocity. Just take a breath, then go back to sharpening your pitchforks.

What do you guys do with all that used oil the shop gives you back? And those brake pads that seem to pile up….
difference is those parts are replaced, not just left without. If a shop removed your brake pads to install something and didn't replace them and threw them out. It would be a problem.

RTFM - trim that was supposed to be removed, and then cut up, yes. Not exactly the same I get it. Oh, are not allowed to stretch a bit?

Let’s all take a step back and breath folks. I think we are starting to go down ugly territory. We are going to have to accept that we agree to disagree. The OP is not satisfied with what occurred and it is reasonable given what we know. The majority of us agree with with him on this thread. The company has a mission statement about total satisfaction. The store did not appear to support the franchise’s motto. That’s it. The OP just wants something reasonable to happen.

I don’t have pitchforks out - crap I don’t even have a rake - broke it last week

And perhaps the OP just got bad service and 100 other people got great service. Doesn’t diminish the OP’s sour experience. Am I going to think twice before I visit that location still - . Yep I will. And that is my prerogative.

Hey. Wasn’t trying to offend - sorry if I did. What I said doesn’t mean we still don’t own what we post. I am all for owning it. But where this seemed to be headed didn’t really help the OP at the end of the day. That’s all. Just trying to bring it back to what the OP was posting about.

Excellent. ??Good to hear. I will return my pitchfork to the nearest Rona store. Gonna keep the torches though.
Wonder how they turned up - miraculously. Maybe an employee there is a forum member and advised wisely that the owner might want to reconsider their position.
