Took my dealer logo off today. Super easy. I WD-40'd it a couple of times. Then today I went to the self car wash so I hit the logo with the high pressure wand. Time ran out but I got about half the logo off. Then the rest pealed right off. Probably didn't need the WD-40 or the high pressure water. A little wax and it looks great. The tailgate looks so much better now.

If I'm working around the house and want to throw something in the bed and don't have my keys on me. Have a tonneau cover so I can't put anything in when it's locked.
Or if I'm coming out of the store with two handfuls of grocery bags.
If I do have something valuable in the bed I can lock it with the key like I did with the previous four trucks I've owned.
Just unscrew the access panel on the tailgate and unplug the lock. I wrapped some electrical tape around it to keep any water out of the plug.
And no, where I live I don't have the slightest worry about tweakers stealing my tailgate. Deer and turkeys are a far bigger threat. I hit a turkey the second week I owned it and had to have the paintless dent guy fix the hood.

Took the low hanging steps off my Tremor. Such a stupid item to have on the off road model. Gained 75lbs of payload in the process.

I also think its a far cleaner look without them.

Roughly. That's the number I was able to find online, and they felt about that.

I'm tracking all my weight added and removed in a mod spreadsheet I made. My wife's weight is even in there, but she'll never know that. She's listed as "Self aware productivity modulator and poor decision reminder device."

Hi Folks,

Second thing I did was broom the two piece lugnuts for nice chromed forged single piece lug nuts after battling my old MKX lug nuts that ballooned to the point where they did not fit the provided lug wrench or any socket that I had in my tool box...

Best,
Phil

LOL! I also keep track of everything I do, I make notes in the same spreadsheet I record every every fill up/mileage. No weights though.

When ever mine comes in. I know a guy at the dealership and already told him to remove any dealer stickers, told me he'd handle it.
Next thing will be that R/C controller antenna. I already bought a stubby since it wasn't much.

What did you do to disable it? I came across this video on YouTube today where unplugging the auto start-stop caused other problems on an F150.
I accidentally found out why my auto stop/start quit working. It was the tailgate light bar plugged into the 4-pin trailer plug. This did not engage tow mode but I am a lowly STX owner without the extra electronic gizmos. So that’s another way to disable it, just get a Line Of Fire. ?

I took off the FX2 stickers on the rear wings and replaced the front grill with an RTR that I saw at the 2019 SEMA Show. Painted the grill surround body color. I really still haven't stopped modifying the truck. Used Belltech kit to lower front 2.5" and rear 4". had the Belltech coil overs on for a couple of weeks. Loved the turn in on the handling, but ride too rough for Indiana frost heaved roads.
I have the Belltech coil over front shocks with OEM spring top plates for sale for $700, you pay the shipping.
Those coil overs still available?
