This is exactly why I am a Ford person!The Key word in this statement is GM... I think at this point it's fairly safe to say their workers were/are more interested in getting drunk and eating chicken fingers than building vehicles....
I prefer not to own a vehicle in which body hardware components routinely fail after 2 years of ownership.
Just ask my brother in law who has had interior door release and tailgate handles fall apart in his hands on his '19 Silverado...just don't get him started on the truck's HVAC controls.
Or my cousin, who's '20 Ram which has spent approximately 70% of it's life at the dealership for them to exorcise the electrical system demons out of it.
