I saw this rig the other day but couldn’t get out of the building and down to street level in time to get better pics. It looks pretty sharp and I love the enthusiasm he has for his Maverick.

With that bed rack and the recovery gear, I can’t decide if it’s confident optimism or a self-fulfilling prophecy. You know, he ends up taking it to places where you just might need a hi-lift jack and traction boards and ends up actually needing the hi-lift jack and traction boards.

I also did a quick check on my Ranger and my rifle cases and hi-lift were still there. ?

 Duke, It looks like your Ranger had an offspring? With all that stuff on there looks like the owner should've just bought a Ranger. lol Pretty badass looking Maverick.

Yeah Dave, True North spent the weekend camping with a Bronco Sport last summer and this is the result.

:surprised: That poor little Bronco. This almost borders on child abuse. ?

You don’t need all that crap for vampires. Just some holy water and a silver shank and that’ll fit in the console..

Oh and a cross hanging from the rear view.
I tried that cross from the rear view thing but every time I got close to the truck, the doors mysteriously locked. ?

Sorry, but you need to start with a good foundation.

The C2 platform is not well suited for his "designed" or "equipped?" use case.

I'm sure he gets a ton of Maverick club points though ?

I didn't take a good picture, but a Maverick parked behind me today and it is wild how small it is compared to even the Ranger.

Approach: 20.6*
Break over: 16.6* (YIKES)
Departure 21.9*

It's IFS so you can't lift it to the moon.

Tire size is limited due to factory designed tire size, IFS and the small wheel arches.

No real transfer case.

I'm not shitting on the Maverick, they are great inexpensive vehicles that get good fuel economy and are very practical. They just shouldn't be taken on an overlanding trip or any real offroad, besides a snowy street.

That must be a popular color. The only two Mavericks I've seen around here are the same color.
That's the color I had planned on getting but finding a Mav is like finding gold at the end of the rainbow but after finally looking at one up close I decided to get a Ranger. The Mav is smaller than I thought and didn't care for the interior.

I've been looking and the only color Rangers I've seen locally since deciding to get a Ranger is Black and White. Didn't really care for the White but the Black one was very nice to look at

I'm waiting on a dealer order Carbonzied Gray....watch when I finally get it, I'll see a ton of them ?

the black rangers do look nice when they are clean but the black is like a magnet for dirt and scrapes. on mine you can see where the drive through car was brushes spin down each side and the trucks not that old 21k miles.

Oh man you go through car washes...you're gonna be put on the wall of shame LOL
At least that's how it is on most car forums I've been on when people don't hand wash ?
I've never had a black vehicle but heard dirty really shows on them. The drive through here does a good job and I'm too lazy to hand wash my vehicles like I used to when I was younger
