I'm in the market to replace my standard 265/60/18 (+55 offset rim 2019 Wildtrak 2lt; no lift) with some bigger AT tires. From what I could gather from the majority of the posts a 265/70/18 would be the safest option without rubbing. Others mention that 275/70/18 also fit in some cases and I want to go as big as possible without any lift.

I had a look at the front fender and it seems those crash/intrusion bars that cause the rubbing have been deleted from this model (similar models at the dealership also don't have these fitted). Tried two different tire shops in Australia and all of them recommend sticking to the 265/70 profile as the biggest I should go.

Will the bigger 275/70 size fit without rubbing (UCA or fender) or should I stick to the 265/70 profile?

You should check on an Aussie forum as the ROW Rangers are slightly different than ours.

Also, maybe search and read said forum first. If it's anything like ours here, the question has been answered a million times.

I used this guide to get the maximum size tire for 17's (265/70/17 AT) without a lift with no rubbing and it worked. I prefer the 17's since you can get more tire area on them than 18's but this is just a personal preference. This guide also shows the maximum tire size for 18's without a lift. Not sure though if these sizes would apply to the Aussie Rangers?

If two different tire shops told me the same thing, I would be inclined to believe them. Although not universally true, following the advice of guys that do this stuff every day has generally paid off for me. Good luck on your quest.

The article mentioned that 265/65/R18 31.6 are for on road only, how come? I have 18 inch rims and was looking to keep them, but going up a size and still taking it off-road.

I have not read the article so I may not be correct. Typically, whenever the topic is tire size and they specify for on road only it means that used in off road situations you will have tires rubbing on the truck and doing harmful things. On road is much more docile than all the bumps and twists off road.

I went with 32s, and have a FOX 2.0 with UCAs. I 100% have clearance for 33s, but really happy with the look with 32s. Still thinking I may add 1.5" spacers though.
