Simply mention facts, like it or not it is the truth. Even then ifnyou look at the beginning of this thread I didnt mention Old Man EMU did I? Maybe you should think about that before making your accusations.

Dude you brought it up in your second post in this thread while claiming a coilover leveling kit will increase fuel consumption, yet somehow the OME kit does not.

I'm gonna step back a bit cause I don't want to argue - I get it you like OME. I'm just saying you're answering a lot of questions here that no one is asking.

And consider BDS shackles, they make a better ride out of the stock leaf springs.

We have about 20K miles on our 2021 XLT with Icon Stage 2 tubular UCA, Icon wheels with offset for KO2 33's, plus air bags on the back for when we tow (HQ15).

The ride is a bit stiffer than we'd like on-road when not towing but we've adjusted for Shrockworks bumper with hidden winch and sliders (about 300 lbs altogether), and we typically have 2-300 lbs of gear in the back.

Off-road is amazingly good. Once we air down (18lbs to start) and find the right speed we can float over most washboard/whoops and have no trouble up to clearance height at and up to 13% grade (towing). Adjusting the airbags for the situation also helps (we typically disconnect the WDH when we air down, but then increase the air bags to 40lbs).

We are always adjusting something and latest thought is to pull the airbags and put on the Icon Leaf set purchased when they first came out. Hoping we can find the right leaf setup to account for the tongue weight (about 600lbs after WDH properly adjusted) and give a softer non-towing on-road feel.

Anyway, net-net, we are very happy with this setup and will likely get another 20K in the coming year (extended Canada/Alaska slated for next Spring).

2.0 or 2.5?

I feel like 2.5's are pretty firm for a mostly street truck. I like the way the stock shocks compression feels but the rebound is horrible on the stock red shocks with the deavers springs. I would think the 2.0's are a solid middle ground.

I pulled the trigger on the Icons. Ive a bunch of large expenses lately so Im gunna start with the rear first and then do the front probably in the fall.

Once I get them Ill take some pics during the install and add my thoughts after some miles. Im guessing they're on backorder though as I still havent gotten them yet. ?‍

Finally got my shocks, on Saturday. Had to settle for the standards as the remote reservoirs i ordered are backordered till ??????. honestly, they would have been overkill anyway for my usage.
Attempted install on Sunday afternoon..... after about an hour I quickly came to realize that there was no safe way to get the truck high enough off the ground to do the install.... ugh

time for a new plan of attack...

Been running icon stage 1 since October. Transformed the truck for the better. I was happier the day I rolled out of the shop than the day I got the truck..

Ive got to tackle it this weekend. I work 7am-6pm most days so that leaves little tinkering time. none of my buddies have a hi lift jack so I may have to bite the bullet and have a shop install it if i cant find a lift.

Are you doing leafs and shocks or just shocks? I didn't even jack my truck up for the rear shock install. I just unbolt and bolted in.

For the leafs I jacked my truck up by the diff, took both tires off, and lowered the truck onto jackstands (rear frame before axles). There are some youtube videos for some tips and tricks. I can send you some of my install tips. I've done it twice now.
