I got the red Ranger letter decals on and a flag Ford decal for the front emblem. Not the best pic… but I’m really liking it.

Finally got around to wiring up the backup lights in the Line Of Fire my wife got me for Christmas. FYI the green wire is the hot lead.

How does the light bar ply with BLIS? Also where did you connect it? Did you tne trailer plug? My understanding is you need a converter?

How is clearance with the tailgate open and opening?

Thanks

Light bar plugs into the 4-pin trailer plug for the taillights, brake lights, and turn signals. Wiring is under the bumper and not close to the tailgate. Light bar is thin and sticks to the upturned back of the bumper under the tailgate, no interference. I ran the 4-pin wire out next to the license plate light, it just pops out, and into the plug on the bumper. You can barely see it there in the pic. Best to keep some bulb grease on the plug because at least where I live it gets wet and water will get on the plug. The backup light wire I ran down under the taillight panel and back up into the light housing area. I am a lowly STX owner with no BLIS or HID lights so I can't say if it would affect that or not. You can also get light bars without backup lights or just skip them and just plug it into the trailer plug and not worry about it.

Chalk test.

I settled on 32 psi front and 30 psi rear cold.

The rear was taken at 32 psi. I didn't want to drop below 30, so I simply lowered the rears to 30 and called it a day. It is harder to tell in the picture, but in the rear you can see that the outside edges are still very white.

I was lowering the pressure 3-5 psi between prints.

Big split in the sidewall of the factory tire. First time I had taken it on a gravel road. Had some big potholes, but there are regular cars that drive down there routinely to get to a kids camp. I actually passed a mini when I was driving out.

Dealer says it can’t be warrantied. 1500kms on the truck. So, the question is, did I get extremely unlucky or these tires that bad? I bought the truck to do a lot worse that this to it, and not really trusting the tires now.

$330 for a replacement tire. Don’t really want to by a full new set.

thoughts?

Check the for sale section on here. Maybe you'll get lucky and find a set near you.

Chance to put $330 for an upgrade :like: While the tires are new, there ARE better for the Rangers. Even if it's only a street tire. IMHO

Did you consult a tire dealer for the manufacturer? Brand of tire?
