id rather not. this is not sci or proven at all but for some reason it seems like both of my rangers get more miles out of high octane than low. they seem to swing 87 really quick.

I'll be flashing back to the 87-89 soft shift tune as on my next fill up. Might as well ease the pain as much as possible.

Yes, if I'm towing I'll put 93 in. No reason to use above 87 when I'm just driving around town most of the time.

I've considered it. Before that I'd probably just start commuting my wife's car, 2016 CX-5, it drinks the cheap swill.

I told myself when I sold my FiST I was going to this at least 2 days a week to offset the Ranger's fuel costs. But I don't think I've done it once. My wife's car is nice. But it's no Ranger.

When it warms up a bit I'll commute the Jeep some. That'll help.

Might be a good time to pick up a bike for the summer. But I'm sure they're all over priced now.

I have always run E10 87 in my stock 2019 and it performs just fine with decent fuel economy.

I am actually kind of mixing . Alternating fill ups with 88 and 93. I stop at Kwik Trip to get drinks so usually top of the tank while there. So using about 90.5 octane

Yep 87. I don't notice any difference cause I don't drive fast much but oddly enough my MPG has gone up. I have about 50 gallons I bought when it was $3.18. Then I watched it go 3.25, 3.39, 3.47 and now 3.89 all in a week.

I had to run out and made the mistake of buying a cardboard breakfast the other day at McDonalds. $7 for SE&C biscuit, hash brown and med coffee. It's past time for a chicken coop.
