Running tally of VIN #, order date and build date by Ranger5G member (2019 MY)

I have a Ranger Supercrew XLT on order with a priority code 10. Order date: 04/02/19. The dealer called today and said they have no VIN number yet. It looks like it's going to be a while.

I just looked at my window sticker and the date at the bottom changed to 05/02/2019.
It should be on a train. So, if it is a window sticker (on the truck?) how can it change now?
What does the date change signify?
Any insight appreciated.

It was loaded on a train on the 29th. Doesn't seem to have moved though.

It was loaded so soon after build. Wonder if they have to wait 5 days before actually moving it.

Call me tired of waiting!! Mid-April I gave my dealer an ultimatum...

1. If I don't have my truck by the end of the month, I want my deposit back, or
2. They could offer a discount to me to keep waiting, or
3. I could buy a Tacoma, or
4. They could locate and acquire a similar truck for me, or
5. I could locate a truck on my own!

Ordered 11/27/19, the Ford tracking site says "in transit", but still doesn't even estimate a delivery date, and today is 5/5/19.

I started looking for alternatives (I really wanted a Ranger!), and found a few. On April 30 I purchased a Metallic SuperCrew (I really wanted RED!), and on May 1 got my deposit back from my local dealer.

It's now dirty, has over 300 miles, and I'm really pleased!!

I just got word that my Lariat Supercab will go production on 5/18. The dealer got me the VIN number. The tracker shows "Processing" with dealer delivery 6/2. The order went in on 3/16. That would make it a 10 weeks wait, which was what I was told when I placed the order.
