Sorry to hear Alex and I hope you both have a speedy recovery! I know everyone has different effects from it so hopefully you don't get any long term ones. Even for me it's been 6 months and some days I have no energy and I still get tired easily where others I feel great. Don't try to overdo it as it'll only make it worse just take it day by day.
No that doesn't sound weird and it'll give you some closure. Maybe you can keep some so he's always close by.

I can see it now. A news article in the future where a guy reports his vehicle missing only to find it several hundred miles away. After doing some investigating, it wasn't stolen or hacked. It drove itself to that location!! ?
