What's up guys, I just got my catted downpipe in today from CVF and I'm stoked to get it on and light up the tires!
I purchased it through 5 star since they update my tunes for free if I buy the parts through their website. I've heard great things about CVF and this thing is 304 stainless!

Update:
Got the downpipe on this morning before and I'm uploading the tune!
The install was honestly a pain in the butt for most of it. The three nuts I actually loosened up first and without a ratcheting wrench man it was tiring, and very tight of a space! Good thing I can stand on my bumper.

The most annoying part is have to say is disconnecting the O2 sensors, for me at least. That was a real PIA.
The downpipe comes with a sheet of paper explaining how to turn on the truck and hold some revs to break in the new cat. I'll break it in and post about it after a while!

I'll record one but I haven't had any luck posting videos on here, any suggestions?

Are you only running the downpipe with stock exhaust? I really like the tone of that. Sounds good!
Oh sorry, I'm running an MBRP exhaust muffler back with the dual exit. Still have the stock flex pipe and midpipe so I used the 2.5 adapter from the downpipe to the flex pipe.

thanks brother, definitely looking forward to the driving one as well, ordered mine last week so waiting for it to arrive
Ok so this one I didn't floor it just gave it some of the beans and it still spun the tires around 50 mph then stopped accelerating

This one just gave it a little gas

Ok this one was floored after the turn with traction control on or it would have gotten sideways, tires still spin around 50 mph

Hey what's up man. I used a regular 15mm wrench pointing away from the engine to break it loose, then I have a mini 15mm ratcheting wrench and just kept ratcheting. It was a SOB.

Actually I think I couldn't use the mini wrench on this nut it was too tight of a space the only way I had space to work was with the regular size 15mm wrench. I pulled up hard on it to break it loose, then you should be able to go from like 9 to 11 o'clock when staring straight at the truck when standing in front of it. I didn't have a ratcheting wrench for loosening it but I bought one to tighten it. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND buying a ratcheting 15mm wrench for this it will save you time and your back from leaning over the engine for so long I had a regular wrench to loosen it and would have to take off the wrench and put it back on the nut each time I turned it like 60°.
