I picked up my brand new Cactus Tremor on New Years Eve at about 4PM. I worked the overnight shift and got home at 6AM to install my Auxito LED's. My wife helped (thank goodness for her tiny hands) and we got high and low beams, as well as the fog lights in. What a difference they make!

While this truck is brand new, I had a '19 XLT Sport 2x4 before so I know the lackluster halogen lights on these trucks all too well. I will be doing LED turn signal/running lights next, but I don't want to deal with the hyperflash. Any suggestions to combat that?
I recently installed the GTR Lighting Carbide Series 2 bulbs. (See here) They're great. Nice and bright with no hyperflash. I also installed some Diode Dynamics HP5 bulbs for the license plate and third brake light. (Two white and one red bulb) They're super bright and give the truck a much more modern appearance at night. How much were the Auxitos? Looking at the GTR Lighting CSP Minis for my truck.

Used some of the left over COB LED strips to add some bed lighting.

Mounted velcro to the underside of the X4S rails, then taped the COB strips to the sticky side of the velcro. This way if I have a strip go bad or need to replace I can just remove the velcro and reuse without having to tear off a COB strip. Drilled a hole in the plastic oval plug at the bottom from the left side of the bed, removed the grommet in the rear of the cab and ran the wires through. Used a grommet in the oval plug (not necessary) and drilled a hole in the grommet in the rear of the cab. Ran the wiring up the side and under the headliner and out the third brake light/ cargo light and soldered in a connection to one side of the cargo lights.

Much brighter than anticipated and not too bad for under $60. Still have about a half a roll of LED's left over.

Little more in-depth on the electrical work. The box will be mounted on the new rear wall once installed and positioned so when you open it the door drops down like a tray for access to the spare electrical components. A new single power line is run for the battery/100A relay circuit and then connected to a power distribution block under the steering wheel dash. Future cabin additions will no longer require tapping or running new lines. Also taking this time to properly run and tuck everything.

Also, another small project I've put off for a while, adding 3 marker lights to each side of my rack. I'll finish tomorrow I'm bushed for the day.

I just hope her response wasn't...... "It's life like":lipssealed:?
I'm not even commenting.

Asking for a friend since he's busy watching Miami Vice re-runs (He sure loves Cocket and Stubs), Where did you order the shorty?
Ebay, just worked out what length I wanted (insert "measured" joke), then went on the bay, millions on there.
