You beat me again! ? I gotta learn to type faster. :explode:
I also type to slowly!!!!

I checked both sites and flood was cheaper so I went with them and btw, at checkout you can use your ford points for a discount (on both sites I believe) but floods price is clearer, it shows a nice grid with all times and milages with deductibles clearly as well with no codes needed, you just click the one you want and enter your info. ---- simpler........

if you are looking::::: BOTH sites say price increase coming on 1/5/2022 so if youre in the market today is the day...... and you have 60 days to cancel for full refund

The "payinfull" code has been active for a while now, not sure if it will be after tomorrow. The code only gives you the same price that Flood Ford sells theirs at so even if it doesn't Floods might be cheaper.

I was going to get one today but I'm going to wait until it gets closer to mine expiring in July. I'm just not sure on which one to get (mileage wise) as I don't drive many miles per year and when I get my Jeep that might dwindle down even more. The money I'll save by lowering the mileage would cover the cost of the increase.
The Discount code is for Zeigler.

After the discount is applied to the Zeigler price, it becomes the same as the normal Flood price.
Thanks guys for the info.

Yeah i am not sure on what mileage to get either, guess i will have to see the new prices tomorrow as i wont be able to buy mine until the truck comes in a few months

When I called Flood Ford yesterday he said 5%-10% increase so not to terribly bad.

gotta do the math and figure out how much you actually drive -- for me I seem to average about 12k a year between my two cars so the 8/100k plan should work best for me.... do you need more time or miles? Im about 18 k on a 2020 so I should have plenty of wiggle room with this one. you can also get a prorated refund for the unused portion if you cancel it when you get rid of the truck before it runs out so you'd get something back down the road.
Another important thing to keep in mind that the clock starts on the original purchase date of the truck NOT the purchase date of the warranty so for example my 8 year plan I bought last night started two years ago on my 2020 so it is covered by factory until 3/2/2023 then after that expires it will be covered with the new extended warranty I bought it will be covered until 3/2/2028 --- a little confusing if you already have the truck. so im buying about 5 years of additional coverage with my 8 year plan.

fords extended warranty is pretty reasonable compared to other companies as long as they keep letting dealers who want to discount them and sell nationwide -- my dealer sells it for more than twice what I paid from flood ford.

I was going to get one today but have decided to wait until closer to my 3/36 expiration which will be in December.

Since I am averaging less than 7k per year on my truck, the time is more important than the miles for me.

And time is the only reason I'm considering one, as I believe the HVAC box will warp after my 3/36 if it's going to warp.

Good points you made there. I usually only keep trucks/cars about 5-6 years and the mileage comes before the years in my use. 10-4 on the start date when the truck is bought

I have NEVER bought an extended warranty (because I've always thought they were a waste of $$!) for a new vehicle and I've had a handful of new Tacoma's and a new 2019 Raptor......I tend to get bored with these trucks and buy something else within a year of 2.........BUT......my new 2021 Ford Ranger Lariat Tremor is the best vehicle I've ever bought and with the mods (FP tune, led lightbar, level lift, folding bed cover.....and soon to be installed Borla S-type cat back exhaust) this truck is bad a$$ and will be a keeper hopefully for a long time!....especially with the truck shortage and inflated truck prices and of course the push towards electric cars........so I pulled the trigger last night because I'm a little concerned about the reliability AFTER 100,000 miles.......here's what I got from Flood:

and I applied my 42,000 ford pass points so it should be about $200 lower than the listed price.....so just over $1,000 for some peace of mind doesn't seem bad at all.........and my in service date was 10/17/2021 and I'm already at 2,500 miles......

just waiting for confirmation from Flood that it was issued........

We went back & forth, then, since there had been absolutely no problems, figured we probably didn’t need it. Then 400 miles after warranty expired, the hydraulic control unit went out. $2200 parts & labor. Fortunately we were still in the timeframe to purchase the extended warranty. Since we’re keeping this Ranger forever?, we got the 8yr/125,000 premier plan. Worth it to me.
Where did you get that warranty...

Still sitting of the fence tonight:crazy: if I could actually get it at the non-Florida rate It would be a quick buy for me but paying over 1400 for a 6yr/60k and over 2k for 8yr/8k is a tough pill to swallow that or taking the risk of using my out of state address.

I'm in the same boat and decided to wait, I have until late July to order it. You can always buy it and cancel within 60 days but I thought I read there was a $75.00 cancellation fee.

Yeah I might end up doing it, like I said the biggest thing is I have to pay double because of Florida's laws.
