Jeremiah’s “semi prerunner” build thread

Hey everyone

I decided to make a build thread for my 2020 Ford Ranger Fx2 xlt. I’ve had the truck for over a year now and wanted to post my progression and what I wanted to achieve.

Current Mods:
Fox tuned suspension 2.0s front and rear.
General Grabbers ATX 265/70/17.
Nfab nerf bars.

Parts I have waiting to go on:
Baja kits +3 long travel.
King coilovers extended travel 2.5s with R/R adjusters.
Fiberwerx front fenders 3.5” bulge.
Cooper Discoverer AT3 285/70/17.
Method 316 with 0 offset.

Parts waiting for:
Method extended lug nuts.
Readylift intrusion bars.

Future parts:
SVC Front Bumper.
Rough Country light bar.
King 2.5 bypasses/or smoothie shock for the rear (through the bed)
Deavers leaf pack.
454 spare tire carrier.
Fiberwerx rear fiberglass.
Bed cage by Drew’s fabrication.

These are most of the parts I can think of now. Thanks to @Superdannyboy and @Allen_rubin for guiding me through the process and answering my questions. Also, anyone else who has helped answer questions. There aren’t many members that have gone LT on our Rangers yet, so it’s difficult to find information.

I have been collecting these parts for about 6 months to a year now. I’ve sort of went down the rabbit hole and now there is no turning back. ?

As of 12/23. My LT kit will be installed next week. Then fiberglass and tires the following week. Hopefully, by the end of the first week of January, the front end will be done! ??

You're gonna love the truck man. I'm stoked for the rear end I wanna see how they fix up the springs, shackles, and the shock location and angle.
Do you want a bolt on bed cage or welded to the frame?

How do you like the current fox shocks?

they are decent. Honestly, the front fox coil over feel similar to the FX tuned coilover. But the rear fox shocks feel way better than the FX tuned rears.

Thanks man! Me too. Going to have to wait a year or so to do the back. Maybe just a bolt on. I’ll see what Drew’s fabrication wants to do. The bed cage is going to be awesome for sure. Limit straps, bump stops, etc.

yes! Thanks. Actually, the picture on website makes them appear a dark silver/light gray but in person, they almost look flat black. But I prefer that.?

Wow. You may be my build twin. Was just about to order my Iconic Silver XLT FX4 some of those method 316s and I have a 2.5” factionfab level, tremor fender flares, and some 275/70/17 KO2s waiting to put on once I make a decision on wheels. Could you post pics from straight on so I can see how far those wheels poke out?
