Would it help to get the vent covers an leave the windows cracked? When I lived in Fla I put a windshield shade in an covered the dash an steering wheel with a beach towel. it seemed to help keep the a/c vents from getting so hot I was home before the a/c got cold.

ANYTHING helps but eventually you park somewhere for some reason and you don't have the ability or aren't willing to compromise to do that. There are a LOT of covered parking spaces in AZ and I usually grabbed one but eventually I didn't and that was it toast. Hoping the one I got is better.
