Very surprised that FedEx delivered this, this morning! My Belltech Rear Flip Kit with Shocks!

Been tinkering around in the garage off and on today, since yesterday was 75* and sunny and today was barely 45*, overcast and windy....


Updated pic of '19-'20 Tow Hook Lower Valance, Tow Hooks and the little rubber protectors.

I wanted my tailgate emblem all Black, instead of Black/Smoked Chrome, so I figured out how to get it apart. I painted the shiny part, Matte Black and it's currently drying, in the garage Pics come later, when it dries and I'm happy with it!

Only other things I did were gather all my stock parts to post for sale

Thanks mate, I'm in the process of deciding if I use covers or go to the trouble and expense of replacing whole handle. The covers look great, so I may save a few bucks here.

I was going to buy the whole handles too, like I did with the tailgate handle, but they're over $100 each, plus the little pieces that don't pull out when you grab the handle... You will still see some of the textured black, if you're looking down at the handle, but on my Black truck, it's not too terribly noticeable, but on your White truck, it would probably bother me.... I have my old covers, if you want them for shipping? You'll have to spray them White and use some new double-sided tape. Let me know? Here are the Gloss Black ones I'm talking about.

Thanks Duke! I wish some of yall were closer to me, so I wouldn't be a 1 man show, doing everything myself, LOL! Only part I'm wanting on now is, the Control Freak front drop and it should be here Tuesday! If it's here Tuesday, I'm going to attempt to take off half a day on Wednesday and start working on this thing! I'm off this Thursday-Monday and plan to have it finished by Christmas! I'm going to be extremely sore this Christmas, LOL!

I also ordered 2 more "Ecobeast" emblems, like the one on my tailgate. Was thinking about putting one of each side of the hood scoop or putting a 2.3T on each side of the hood scoop? What do yall think?

I'm thinking about the blacked out 2.3 turbocharged stickers and maybe sticking the Ecobeast emblems somewhere else?

I also finally ordered the Rear Dog Seat Cover, Tailgate Seal and G2 Gloss Black Caliper Paint. I really need to get my shelves put up in the garage tomorrow afternoon too.

Only other things I'm buying are just small things, except for the tuner

Plus, literally 5 mins ago, I just grabbed a full set of handles, in the exact colour I want, for cheap as chips (price of one new one from Ford), so I can avoid the covers over the chrome, which I was a bit hesitant about after trial fitting yesterday.

Just hope they arrive by Christmas break.

I didn't realize your handles were already chrome until just know, LOL! So is yours a Lariat? I know my stepfathers' Lariat has the little black button on the drivers door on his chrome handles. Do all Lariats have this option? He said it lets you unlock the truck without having to take the key out of your pocket... Aus trucks may be different?

I’m torn on the extra badges - they’re pretty fun - I think you ordered three - one for the tailgate - I’d definitely replace my tailgate badge if it were my truck, mainly because it’s not an add-on, but a replacement, so it won’t be unexpected.

Depending on how long they are, they might be a decent looking front fender badge. At the least, they’ll look cool on a toolbox or somewhere under the hood.

The matte vinyl lettering might be alright - Msfitoy did some interesting vinyl on his hood. You can always remove it if you don’t like how it turns out.

I didn't get a choice on spec, my employer ticked the boxes for me. Mats, tint, tow pack, weather visors, etc. Sadly not leather, but considering how long the wait is for most cars over here post-covid, the fact it was ready for me in a few days, was way more important.

Yep, all of the Australia ones have the different front end and that bar thingy behind the cab. I follow a guy on YouTube, that lives in Australia, that has an offroading guide/survival business. Seems like a really cool guy! That's where I first saw the 5th gen Ranger and have wanted one ever since

No leather for me either, but that was my choice, since I'm not a big fan of leather seats. My wife loves her heated leather seats in her CRV though, LOL! I kinda would've liked to have had the heated cloth seat option, but didn't even realize it, until after my truck was being built...

I order my truck on August 6th and it arrived on October 16th, so a lot quicker than I was expecting, but I've heard that was due to not wanting many options?

People over here are waiting months, from what I've heard, I needed mine ASAP, so they pretty well took what they had in stock (I asked for white), and added what they could do at the dealer.

And yes, we have the bar lol. That you can't actually do much with, but look at. Good for a light load of timber or something, but I wouldn't tie anything important to it.

I'll start a thread on it after I get back from the holidays, showing what the car is like stock and what I've done, if for no reason other than to show the differences between the US and Aus specs, without hijacking your build thread.
