I went with 2" front and 5" rear. Would like to go 3" front at some point in the future but I would need new upper control arms.
Good luck! I talked to the Manager at Belltech a few weeks ago and they have no clue when the new adjustable upper control arms will actually be released.... That's why I said screw it and ordered from Control Freaks.

I need to vent!

I'm not to thrilled with the way these new AlphaRex headlights function! They do look amazing and the LED pattern is so much better than the XLT Halogens! The problem I'm talking about is the fact that the LED strips on both headlights, that AlphaRex is calling the "DRL", is in fact not the DRL and does not turn off, ever...

I've been talking with AlphaRex all day today. Just FYI, they do not include any directions on how to install the headlights or even wire them up. They sent me a YouTube link, that wasn't even their video, it was someone on here, I believe, changing their XLT lights to Lariat lights....

Anyway, they said to use the included fuse tap in the underhood fuse at slot #24. Well, on my truck, there's not anything there, to push a fuse into #24.... They then said to use it wherever there was an "ignition on" fuse... Seems like everything under the hood fuse box isn't an "ignition on" or higher than a 10a fuse. I told them this, to which their answer was, "We cannot help you..." Then, moments later, they said I could install a switch in the cab and tie it to an "ignition on" wire under the dash.

Now, here's where everything gets really confusing...

They said the switch will turn off the LED white strips. They then said the LED strips cannot turn off, since they are also parking lights... I said, then what's the point of installing a switch, if they're not going to turn off the damn LED strips? With the switch set to off , the DRL bar did not light up , with the DRL harness , the light bar turn on at high intensity when the ignition is on. If you tap into fuse box , they will come on automatically, unless you are installing the switch in the cab. It’s either on or off , the grey wire is just an on and off control for the DRL, that’s how it work. The DRL harness is to turn on the DRL when the parking light is off, that’s why it’s call daytime running light!

They also said I can cut the white strip out all together, to make the strip amber, but I have to take the headlight out and modify it. Then, if I did all this, it would be amber all the time, regardless if the parking lights were on or not... It would also eliminate the vertical strip of LED's and only use the horizontal ones. The sequential turn signals would still be functional though.

These people are clearly morons!

You can still use the DRL function on the dash, but it turns the low beam off or on... I was assuming it turned off the actually LED strips, since that's what they're calling DRL's...

I hope I got all that correct, it came from out Facebook conversation... So, I'm going to install a push button switch above the power mirror switch and find an keyed hot wire under the dash. I'll see if that does anything? I'll let yall know weather it works or not?

They're installed :) I got everything working like they're supposed to earlier today. I'm still going to add an SPST push button switch to turn the DRL's off/on, just like the OEM option. The dash OEM option doesn't work anymore, btw. I've also got a video of the lights in action. To make the DRL's work as intended, I used their fuse tap in the under hood fuse box, in the #19 slot, which is the Electric power assist steering 10a fuse.

I had to clean my filthy truck today, so once it finally got warm, I cleaned it and used Adam's Detail Spray to get these weird streaks off the whole drivers' side of the truck.

I need to put something on my tires, they look awful, LOL!

I also installed my Ecobeast emblem on the tailgate.

Well, I just woke up and checked my emails and was surprised to see that Belltech shipped my rear drop kit stuff last night! Says it should be here by on the 20th!

Although, I still haven't received my front drop stuff from Control Freaks yet, which is kinda disappointing....

Good news day today!

I talked to Al @ Control Freaks this morning and my front drop will be mailed out tomorrow! He also gave me some street and track alignment numbers!

My rear Belltech drop will be here Monday!

All of my Air Design/Lariat parts have been paint matched and I can pick them up this weekend!

My new 3rd brake light came in. I ordered the Raptor style grille lights in white and they should be here tomorrow?

I ordered more stuff from Adam's Polishes last week and it should be in tomorrow & Saturday!

So, maybe, my 5 day Christmas weekend, I'll be able to finish up the little truck?

Yesterday, I went to my dads house and picked up all my freshly paint matched Air Design body parts!

Today, I got every Air Design piece, except the flares, installed!

I love this build. Let’s me live out all the things I can’t do to my truck ?

Are they just covers on the door handles? Or the covers are behind, so you don’t scratch paint opening? Thanks.

Thursday night, I decided to sand and paint the aluminum center caps, Matte Black, for my Method Racing wheels.
IMG_20211217_165656963.webp

I also sanded and painted my Air Design Fender Flare Superbolts, Gloss Black.
IMG_20211217_165701067.jpg

Today, I installed the freshly painted center caps, to their new home, on the wheels. Black wheel lip bolts should be here next week too!

So! I'm hoping my drop parts will all be here by Tuesday? If so, I'm going to start with the dropping Wednesday afternoon! It would be amazing if I get this truck visually finished Xmas weekend!

Thanks for the compliment! I am cloning a SEMA truck, if you didn't know? I think I'm the only one crazy enough to clone it?! ?

No, they're not chrome covers, LOL! They're Shadow Black... My LED garage lights made it look different, plus it was overcast and rainy off and on all day. I'll take a pic of it out of the garage tomorrow.

All good, no glasses on. Looks like chrome handles and black cover behind. Or am I blind?

Either way, this thing is sick. Coming from Aus, where every Ranger owner just wants the biggest tires/lift/bullbar possible, it’s nice to see someone else building a road focused truck.

I’m trying to do similar, just in a much simpler, cheaper and far less extreme way.
Yep, you're blind! It's the Shadow Black handle covers over the stock textured Black XLT handles.

Yea, every Ranger around here is either stock or lifted... Check out this thread, if you haven't seen it yet? Anybody planning to lower their 2019 Ranger? There's a few of us living the low life :)

When I'm done, I'll share everything that I bought and how much it cost, but I'll let you know that the wheels, lowering kit and body kit alone are very expensive. Tires weren't too bad. All the performance stuff I installed was $1500-$2000 estimated?

Air Design has a Global kit, since yall's front end is different than ours. Off-Road Kit: Ranger 2019 Global - English

You can get a little less offset on your wheels, but price isn't much cheaper.

I've got to go to bed now ?????
