Nice looking truck! How is the base treating you? I’m hoping I don’t kick myself from walking away from my day2 reservation on the bronco. After driving a Big Bend at the dealer, I felt like the ranger was just a better fit and had all the creature comforts I’ve been missing.
It's only been two days so far but I absolutely love it. The Sasquatch drives better than I thought it would. Plenty of power to move this big rig. The one thing I have to get used to is the increased stopping distance required over the Ranger. Probably has to do with the large wheels. I've been babying it so far until I really get used to it.

Also, I'm not a guy that needs a lot of creature comforts on the interior, so the base was perfectly fine for me. My Ranger was an XL so I'm used to the lack of bells and whistles. Plus, the interior is kind of a blank slate for me to upgrade as I wish.

Congrats on finally getting your Bronco! I hope is gives you many miles & years of trouble free driving. Hope you come back and update us after you get some miles on it on how you like it on and off road. Good luck and Merry Christmas! ?
Merry Christmas to you as well! I will post a follow up review in the future. Gonna let the new car shine linger for a bit before I take her off-road. My cousin is supposed to be getting his Bronco this week as well, and once we both get used to our rigs we will be doing a bunch of off-roading all around Florida.

I have a somewhat loaded Badlands on order. It has the high package but not the Sasquatch package because I figured the 33's would be a good start and I could upgrade later. Now since I have a Jeep coming sooner and with all the delays from Ford I was thinking I might go down to a Base SAS and just add the Aux switches. I do like all the tech but I have that in my Ranger and the Jeep will too. Plus like you said it'll give me a blank slate to work with and about $12K less than the Badlands. If Ford keeps price protecting them I'll most likely go this route.

I'll still have room in the driveway for one more before I need street parking. lol

Naaw I figure I'll keep my Bronco order until Ford decides not to price protect it anymore. By the time I get mine in 2024 either the Ranger or the Jeep will be on the way out. Although if there's a Ranger Raptor all bet are off. :curse:

My exact build is Base SAS with mod bumper and Aux switches. I call it the "meat and potatoes" build. Everything you need, nothing you don't. It's ripe for the upgrading and costs much less than the Badlands, as you pointed out. The only thing you don't get that you may or may not need (I won't need it) is the disconnecting sway bar. I believe that is Badlands only. If you don't need the sway disco then I would highly suggest going BaseSquatch.

You got to drive a Ranger for 2 years, and they gave you what you paid for it?

Lucky bastard! Enjoy the awesome ride, that thing is sweet!
I bought mine in '19 for $32K. Drove for 2 yrs and 30, 000 miles, and got 29,500 in trade against a '21 just like it except it has 4wd. Looked on the dealer website yesterday and they have my old truck listed at $37k...
Dang!

Yea the used truck market is wild right now. I paid $29,500 (before tax, title, license) back in June of '19 for the Ranger (new). I traded it in this weekend for $29,400. So it depreciated 100 bucks in 2-1/2 years. It only had 25k miles on it.
