I’m going to be getting new tires soon and I want to get the same size for my spare.

Will a 265/70/17 tire fit alright underneath on the spare tire carrier?

I know they are only about and inch bigger but I didn’t know is their would be any clearance problems underneath the truck.

Like the others have said it fits and remember to flip the valve stem so it's facing the outside.

I have a 16" spare on my XLT so I'm looking for a 265/75/16 for a spare.

You’ll have no problem. I currently have my spare with a 285/70/17 from my brothers Ram Power Wagon.

I'm going to stick with the factory spare 255/70/16 even though I went up to 265/70/17 tires. I don't off road. If I get a flat I won't be in a situation to need 4x4 so I'll just limp it to a tire store. If I get into off roading I'll get a matching diameter spare for a trail emergency.
