Didn't know one was going on! I live on an island under a rock. lol
I worked rotating shifts a lot when I lived in Hawaii. I finally had a chance to see a world series game (my off day fell on a day with a game). I'm waiting on the first pitch an boom images on the screen are shaking, it was the SanFran earthquake. I was a total sports nut back then an tried to watch it all. I've been watching less an less an now with every league thinking they have to make political statements I watch a minimal amount. I'll watch a rerun of CSI or a DIY show instead.

Retired, work is a four letter word.
I quit watching most sports when it got more important to make a political statement than play the game. I will watch the Superbowl, not sure if it's for the game or the commercials though. Oh, and baseball is like watching paint dry, not very interesting, at least to me.

Not really, I don't even think about it unless someone at work mentions it. Don't like baseball at all, quit watching pro football years ago and watch a little bit of college football, but getting where I don't really care for it much anymore either

<== Astros Fan and NO! I had no idea. Life has been unnecessirily complicated lately. I saw Houston playing ball on the tv in a bar the other day and thought "gee the weather sure is nice for summer..." So not only did The World Series sneak up on me but apparently, fall, Halloween, Columbus Day and a whole bunch of other stuff.

I used to feel that way about golf. I never could understand how my Grandmother could sit and watch that - now I enjoy watching it (Especially if Jason Day is playing :). Anybody that can play golf while having a vertigo attack has my admiration).

Golf I just cant watch, baseball is my limit for slow sports. I've tried to watch it and even play it when younger and it's just to boring for me. I think watching paint dry is more exciting. :)?

They've made the golf season too long. The tour used to end at the tour championship, then a few unofficial events for big money then off from Mid Nov to after new years. I watch when the season starts on the west coast some but I really tune in for the Masters an the majors an ryder cup (don't care about the American up). I kinda follow Jason Day too since he's around here a lot because his wife is from Ohio.

Around here football rules an no one even knows the rules for hockey an soccer.

the worst golf game is still a million times better than watching any form of "professional" wrestling.
how is that considered a sporting event???
Wrestling isn't about the sport, but watching one of the paid jerks get his ass kicked is fun. It's about the rivalries an mega personalities. Like a testosterone soap opera.

When I was a kid I loved to hate Rick Flair an the four horsemen.
